Who We Are?
Our Mission
Bee in the Borough is a not-for-profit organisation based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. Overlooking the Coventry Canal, our aims are to advocate for your local bee population, educate people on the importance of the bee and other pollinators in relation to the food chain, as well as showing people how to begin growing their own fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers.
While we try to keep our educational programmes free of charge wherever possible, we do open up our facilities to raise funds in order to keep the important stuff free. Have a look through our upcoming events to see if you would like to visit, or if you have any ideas for an event or anything else, please head over to our contact page and say hello!
Extraordinary Experiences
Benefiting from a secluded canalside garden surrounded by trees, flowers and birdsong, Bee in the Borough is an ideal space for rest, relaxation, inspiration and pampering. From pop up restaurants to guided meditation to knife and axe throwing classes, we go above and beyond to make sure that you are looked after to the best of our abilities.
Our Core Values
We are a grassroots campaign that is run by volunteers. This means we can’t afford to register as an organic-certified garden. However, we are strongly committed to an organic, permaculture ethos. We’re always happy to answer any questions you may have about this, or to listen to new ideas that you may have to share. Don’t be a stranger!
